1. Introduction

Welcome to The One Euro Journey (https://oneeurojourney.com/). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your participation in the “One Euro Journey” social experiment. By accessing our site or purchasing a “Producer Credit,” you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

The One Euro Journey is a media project, social experiment, and digital community platform.

2.1 Not a Charity

OEJ OÜ is a for-profit private limited company registered in Estonia. 

By participating, you acknowledge that:

• You are purchasing a digital product (a “Producer Credit” and/or “Voting Rights”).
• You are not making a direct charitable donation to a non-profit organization.
• Your payment is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
  

2.2 The Product

When you pay €1.00, you are purchasing:

1. A Producer Credit: A unique, sequential status (e.g., Producer #4,502) in our database.
2. Voting Rights: The ability to participate in community governance regarding future project milestones.
3. Digital Access: Access to the “Transparency Dashboard” and exclusive project updates.
   

3. The “Honest Economics” Framework

We operate under a policy of “Radical Transparency.” By using this service, you acknowledge and agree to our financial distribution model:

3.1 Allocation of Funds

• 25% Pledge: We legally pledge to donate 25% of gross revenue to registered animal welfare organizations.
• 75% Operations: The remaining 75% is retained by OEJ OÜ to cover:
  
  • Operational costs (hosting, legal, accounting).
  • Content production and marketing.
  • Taxes (VAT, Corporate Tax).
  • Founder compensation and team salaries.
    

3.2 Milestone Impact Model

Donations are released only when specific revenue milestones are hit (e.g., €1,000, €10,000, €100,000).

• If a milestone is not reached: Funds accumulate in the company account until the target is met.
• If the project ceases operations: Any accrued funds allocated for the “25% Pledge” will be donated to a shelter of OEJ OÜ’s choice before the company is dissolved.
  

4. Community Governance & Voting

Holders of a “Producer Credit” may participate in voting to select future charitable beneficiaries.

4.1 Voting Rules

• One Producer Credit = One Vote (unless otherwise specified).
• Votes are cast via our specific governance interface.
  

4.2 Veto Power

While we respect the community’s voice, OEJ OÜ retains the final right of refusal (Veto Power) if a selected beneficiary:

• Is not a legally registered non-profit/charity.
• It is found to have ethical violations or engage in animal cruelty.
• Cannot legally receive funds from an Estonian entity. In such cases, the runner-up organization will be selected.
  

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

The price of a Producer Credit is €1.00 (EUR). Prices include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, LHV).
We do not store your full credit card details.

5.3 No Right of Withdrawal (Digital Goods)

IMPORTANT FOR EU CONSUMERS: By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract (delivery of your Producer Status) and acknowledge that you strictly lose your right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period) once the purchase is validated.
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

6. Transparency Dashboard & User Conduct

Our “Transparency Dashboard” displays real-time financial data.

6.1 Accuracy

While we strive for 100% accuracy, real-time data may have slight delays due to banking synchronization or caching.
The official accounting records take precedence over dashboard visuals.

6.2 Public Recognition

If you choose to provide a name for your Producer Credit, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide license to display that name on our public “Wall of Producers” or “Ledger.” If you choose “Anonymous,” we will display “Anonymous Producer.”

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, logos, video documentaries, the “One Euro Journey” concept) is the intellectual property of OEJ OÜ.
You may not use our branding or content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Estonian law:

• The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• OEJ OÜ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• We do not guarantee that the project will reach its €1,000,000 goal.
  

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved amicably.
If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled by the Harju County Court in Tallinn, Estonia.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced via email or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
